Seeing your child sick or hurt IS awful, but the worst is when you have to watch your child suffer the after affects of a wrong choice. We have a boy who will be fifteen next month and he is really hard to get through to sometimes. Nothing really awful or anything, mostly just not caring about school, being mean to siblings, etc. I can't imagine how it would be to have your children addicted, or chosing to leave the Church (We're LDS too), or something like that. I hope neither of us has to watch our children suffer because of a wrong choice!

Just stumbled across your blog and have had a quick read through. Wow. There is nothing meaningful a random stranger can write in response to your story so I wont try. Your little boy truly is a miracle but more importantly he is utterly scrumptious! Huge congrats from a random stranger.
