BTW – we had some of those joyous hugemongous grape a while back…wondering all the while if we should really be enjoying them so much. They had to be ‘on something!’

The story that always makes a smile is the one of our son playing first-grade basketball. As all of the players were heading down the court in the middle of a very heated game, my son busted out his famous “cart-wheel” move. The refree took him aside and said “Buddy, we’re playing basketball, not gymnastics”. My husband hid his head in shame as all of the parents secretly giggled inside. My son took it all in stride and at the end of the game came up to us and commented “Whew, that was hard work!” I think my 93-year old grandma almost wet her pants she was laughing so hard!

Olivia lined up all the pieces – dress, crown, wand, etc. She then told her mommy that she was a beautiful princess but she would be more beautiful if she had “bumps”.

Hmm, my daughter is laughing thinking she thought she knew what the ‘bumps’ were, but she said “what do you mean, bumps?”

Olivia said “You know, those things at the bottom of shoes to make me taller!”

Her latest fun is taking out her baking suit (her apron and hat) and telling anyone who will listen….”I have my baking suit on…let’s bake!”

The older kids joke that maybe they need baking suits too!
