I missed the deadline but must share my very favorite appreciative moment of all. It's not even my story, but I LOVE children with Down Syndrome so it is extra special. Here goes:

A little boy with down syndrome, about 3 years-old, was told he could open 1 Christmas present early. Not paying much attention, his parents didn't notice he had chosen the wrapped package of batteries that went with a big, multi-functional, expensive toy. He opened them and was delighted. He squeeled with excitement and ran around their house placing new batteries in the remotes and other things he knew they went in!

What a joy this little boy is. IT is inspiring and humbling and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
